Grace Hohler & Robyn Stoks are champs!
Easter weekend is always a poignant time, but for a group of five local TMB/WWG wrestling girls, it took on an even more special meaning, at least on the mat.
Those five competed in the 2026 NYWA Girls’ State Wrestling Tournament and two of them — Grace Hohler (55 pounds) and Robyn Stoks (70) — earned championships in their respective weight divisions.
Also, Myra Hohler (45) took second place, and Annie Bruder (55) and Braya Schreier (120) competed as well, but didn’t not place.
Grace, a state champ last year as well, was named the K-4 Most Outstanding Wrestler with a perfect 5-0 record. Each girl also competed as part of either K-fourth or fifth- through eighth-grade area all-star teams.
