The Tracy Lions Club’s “Help Tuck Them In” program, has delivered over 290 beds and 20 cribs over the past two and half years to children and families in need. This selfless dedication is what earned them recognition as Lyon-Lincoln Electric’s finalist in the fifth annual regional “Who Powers You?” contest.
“What started as a simple idea has quickly grown into a powerful, volunteer-driven effort that is changing lives across Lyon-Lincoln’s service territory” wrote Jessica Gums, who nominated Joel Buyck for the contest. “The Tracy Lions partner with schools, local organizations, and community members to ensure these beds reach the children who need them most, while bringing others together to be part of the solution.”
Who Powers You is an exciting contest being hosted by the region’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives to highlight local figures and organizations who are making a difference in their communities.
