Residents at Prairie View Senior Living enjoyed another full week of fun, laughter, and meaningful time together through a variety of activities and special events.
The week began Monday afternoon with a traditional game of Bingo, always a favorite among residents and a wonderful way to kick off the week with friendly competition.
On Tuesday morning, the ladies gathered once again for a relaxing time of conversation and pampering as staff polished their nails. In the afternoon, residents traded in their everyday routines for chef hats as they made mini S’more pies. The sweet treat was a delightful activity for all and something everyone enjoyed sharing together.
Wednesday morning offered a time for spiritual reflection, with Chapel led by Pastor Miron and Catholic Communion led by Colleen S. Later that afternoon, the laughter returned as residents gathered to play Dumpster Dice, filling the room with smiles and cheerful energy.
Thursday brought a creative touch of Easter spirit to Prairie View with a lively game of Scrabble Egg. Plastic Easter eggs were filled with Scrabble letters, and residents were divided into teams. Each team was given an egg and challenged to come up with as many words as possible using the letters inside. The activity showcased not only teamwork, but also the impressive creativity of the residents.
The Easter fun continued Friday afternoon with a spirited round of Easter Family Feud. The game brought plenty of laughter and lighthearted fun, making for another memorable afternoon together.
The week wrapped up with another traditional game of Bingo. Congratulations go out to this week’s Bingo winners, Bev and Kay.
From games and treats to faith-filled moments and Easterthemed fun, it was another joyful and activity-filled week at Prairie View Senior Living.
