Prairie View News

It was another enjoyable and activity-filled week at Prairie View Senior Living, as residents came together for familiar favorites and exciting new games.

The week began on Monday with a traditional game of Bingo, always a favorite among residents and a wonderful way to kick off the week with fun and friendly competition.

Tuesday morning brought music and smiles as residents gathered for a cheerful sing-a-long. In the afternoon, they had the opportunity to try something new with a game of Golf Dice. The new activity was met with enthusiasm as residents enjoyed learning the game and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Wednesday morning offered a time of worship and fellowship. Chapel was led by Pastor Deb, and residents also had the pleasure of meeting Vicar Angie, who will be joining them on Wednesdays as well.

Catholic Communion was led by Carol. The fun continued into the afternoon as residents gathered for a lively game of Fargo, filling the room with laughter and excitement.

On Thursday afternoon, residents traded in game cards for garden gloves as they spent time indoor gardening. The hands-on activity gave everyone a chance to nurture plants and enjoy a touch of spring indoors.

Friday afternoon introduced yet another new activity, the Roll the Garden dice game. Residents have been thoroughly enjoying the chance to learn and play these new games, which have brought added energy and fun to the week.

The week wrapped up with another round of traditional Bingo. Congratulations go out to this week’s Bingo winners, Agnes and Trixie.

Prairie View Senior Living continues to be a place where residents can enjoy meaningful activities, friendship, and plenty of joyful moments throughout the week.
