Eli Lightfoot wins triple jump and long jump
Eli Lightfoot swept the long jump and triple jump events at Tuesday’s Panther II Invite — TMB’s first home meet of the spring.
Lightfoot jumped 19’-8.5” in the long jump and 35’-9” in the triple jump.
The Panther boys finished fourth overall.
Tyler Arnold was second in the
800-meter run with a time of 2:14.12; Hunter Ostgaard was third in the
200-meter run at 24.03 and fourth in the 100-meter run at 11.81; and the TMB 4x200 relay team of Owen Maguire, Chanse Swenhaugen, Ty Yackely and Braden Morgan was third with a time of 1:36.47.
For the girls, Lauren Knakmuhs placed second in the 800-meter run
a 2:52.03, and Elizabeth Buyck was second in the pole vault at 7’.
The TMB girls took eighth place.
The Panthers are in Worthington today (April 23) and compete in the Bob Nagle Relays in Pipestone on Tuesday.
