On Saturday, April 25, Seventh Congressional District (CD7) Republicans held their annual convention to endorse a Republican Congressional Candidate. The convention was attended by over 500 people, including delegates, alternates, guests, legislators, and local and statewide Republican candidates.
The delegates voted to endorse Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach. The body also discussed and approved resolutions for consideration for the State Party Platform. Many statewide candidates for governor, secretary of state, state auditor, and attorney general, and U.S. Senator, addressed the convention and asked for the delegates’ support at the Minnesota Republican State Convention, which will be in Duluth at the end of May.
