We are excited to announce that the new Tracy Area Community Center is nearing completion. Despite the challenges of the past six years, we have made significant progress because of your steadfast support.
The interior has been painted, the bathrooms are tiled, and kitchen cupboards are currently being installed. Electrical work and plumbing are nearing completion. Additionally, the new roof is being completed, while the ongoing installation of siding and insulation will ensure the building is both energy efficient and cost effective to maintain.
Our goal has been to provide a versatile space for all community members to enjoy social activities, educational programs, private celebrations and much more. The center will be equipped for video conferencing and also provide a dedicated space for the American Legion and its membership The project remains on schedule and within budget. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed through donations. We also thank Jeff Carpenter and the city council for their guidance and support, and Val Quist for her essential grant writing.
