Brad Hennen was endorsed by area delegates as the District 15A Republican House candidate at the Republican District 15 convention in Cottonwood on Monday.
Hennen, from rural Ghent, was one of four GOP candidates vying to fill Chris Swedzinski’s seat. The others were Hunter McFall of Granite Falls, David Sturrock of Marshall and Brian Mock of Lynd.
Hennen and his wife, Barb raised nine children on the farm. He said he is running to support our farmers and small businesses; lower the cost of living for families; and make sure area communities stay strong for the next generation.
The DFL endorsement was settled this spring when that party’s District 15 convention, with Nathan Schmidt of Minneota was endorsed.
