Dean and Shirley McNeal have been chosen as Grand Marshals for this year’s Fulda Wood Duck Festival. The couple have lived in Fulda for the past 54 years.

A 10th annual Beer, Bands, and Bacon festival was held at the Hendricks Veterans Memorial Park on Sunday, May 24. Attendees enjoyed handcrafted bacon dishes, a wide sampling of craft beers, and toe-tapping live entertainment. Each attendee received a limited-edition stainless steel cup.

A large group of present and former co-workers, family and friends gathered on Friday in the school cafeteria to say thanks to head custodian Steve Bennett for his 33 years of service. Principal Jeff Hansen started the program with a good-natured ribbing.
Tyler Tribute
Long-time Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Schools District Office Manager Robin Knudsen has retire after 31 years. “I graduated in 1987 as a member of the final graduating class of Russell-Tyler,” Knudsen said. “I was a Dane!”
