The Western Minnesota Candidate Forum BBQ and Bean Feed will take place at 5:30 p.m. on July 7 at Kuhar Park, which is located at 13494 Co. Hwy 6, one-half mile north of Lamberton. The Forum will feature endorsed candidates, Erik Osberg for Congressional District 7; Senate District 15 candidate Andrea Boettger; and House District 15B Keith Klawitter. This is an opportunity to hear where candidates stand on rural issues that matter to farmers, rural families, and small towns. Key Ag issues include tariffs as to farm markets and fertilizer prices, Beginning Farmers, Small Business Support like meat processing, rural health crisis, and more.
The Forum, free and open to the public, is sponsored by Redwood County DFL, Brown County DFL, Senate District 15, and the DFL Rural Caucus.
