Hendricks’ annual summer celebration will kick off early on July 3 with Small Town Strong Patriotic Games. The Hendricks Community Spirit Award, presented by the Hendricks Foundation, will be given at 3:30 p.m. that same day at the Veterans Memorial Park Bandshell.

Karen Lichstinn was named Lake Benton’s Citizen of the Year and Bolt’s Grocery the town’s Organization of the Year at the Saddle Horse Holiday celebration recently.
Tyler Tribute
From June 14-19 at Bethel University in St. Paul, RTR student Audrey Schreurs spent five days with scores of other Girls State participants in St. Paul. Her trip was facilitated through the Ruthton American Legion Auxiliary.

Bruiser’s in Revere has moved its operation to the Farmers Golf and Health Club in Sanborn, effective July 18. Bruiser’s opened in Revere in 2012.
