Residents at Prairie View Senior Living enjoyed a fun-filled week of games, creativity, worship, and plenty of laughter.
On Monday afternoon, residents gathered for a traditional game of Bingo. Tuesday afternoon challenged everyone to put their minds to the test as they worked together to create as many words as possible using the letters from the phrase “Happy Fourth of July.” They did an amazing job and came up with an impressive number of words.
Wednesday morning, the building was filled with worship music as Pastor Miron led Chapel, followed by Catholic Communion. Later that afternoon, many residents showed off their creative talents by making festive Fourth of July sun catchers.
It is always wonderful to see each resident’s imagination and creativity shine.
On Thursday morning, Prairie View welcomed some special guests for another enjoyable game of Bingo.
In the afternoon, residents played a lively game of “Right, Left, and Pass the Firecracker.” As a funny story was read aloud, participants had to listen carefully and pass a wrapped gift to the left or right whenever those words were mentioned. The game became quite entertaining and brought plenty of laughter to everyone involved.
Friday afternoon brought a patriotic twist to a favorite activity as residents played Patriotic Bingo. There were many winners throughout the week, and Prairie View would like to congratulate them all.
