Elliot Schmidt started on the mound, going two innings, giving up one hit, while striking out four. Cooper Lanoue took the tough-luck loss, tossing two innings giving up 1 ER. Boden Carlson pitched the final inning, giving up two hits and striking out three. Archer Scarset led the way at the plate with two hits. Also collecting hits were Cooper Lanoue, Levi Schreier, Carlson, and Landon Burns.
July 11: Redwood Red 7, Tracy 0
Schmidt took the Loss on the mound, giving up 5 runs on no hits, walking 5, and striking out 4. Schreier collected the only hit.
Tracy 7, Lamberton Yellow 2.
Lanoue led the way offensively with 2 hits, 3B, and 2 RBI. Carlson and Chase Layman each with 2 hits and 2 RBI. Also collecting hits were Schmidt and Cam Nelson. Schmidt earned the win on the mound, going 3 innings, giving up zero runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Red finished the season with an overall record of 8-8-1.
MITES RED: July 9: Springfield Maroon 18, Tracy 13.
Noah Schreier, James Hohler, TJ Dolan, and Braxton Petersen all collecting three hits. Gunner Moore chipped in with a double and 2 RBI. Also collecting hits were Landon Luckhardt, Colin Nelson, Mason Gervais, and Lanoue. TJ Dolan was solid on the mound, giving up 2 runs on 1 hit, with 7 Ks in 3 innings. Taking the loss on the day was Noah Schreier, who gave up 5 runs on 2 hits, and 4 BB.
July 13: Tracy 15, Windom Gold 9.
Six pitchers combined to give up 4 hits. Braxton Petersen, Noah Schreier, Colin Nelson, Landon Luckhardt, Mason Gervais, and Soren Peterson all pitched. At the plate, TJ Dolan had 4 hits and 4 RBI. Noah Schreier chipped in with a HR, 2 hits, and 4 RBI. Mason Gervais had 3 hits with 3 RBI. Also collecting hits were Hohler, Luckhardt, Lennox Brinkley, and Cooper Milman. The Mites finished the regular season with a record of 11-3 going into the end of the season tournament July 18-19.
BLUE ROOKIES July 7: Tracy 9, Lamberton Yellow 0
Teagen Sanders was 3-4, with an RBI; Riyker Rolling was 3-3, with an RBI, and 2 runs; and Michael Lanoue went 3-3 and scored 2 runs. Braxton Rolling (2B, RBI), Zaviar Rohlik (2 RBI), Jionni Odom (3B, RBI) and Skylar Ziemke (RBI) all collect two hits Royston Rohlik started on the mound, going 3 innings and striking out 4. Zaviar Rohlik also pitched 3 innings and struck out 4.
End of season tournament: Tracy 8, Stark 2
Odom had a triple and 4 RBI; Sanders, Rolling (RBI) and Dawson Nilius had the other hits. Odom started on the mound, striking out 6 in 3 innings. Sanders pitched a scoreless 4th, striking out the side.
Quarterfinals: Wabasso 9, Tracy 0
Sanders had 2 hits and Ziemke had a hit and walked once. Oliver Ransford started on the mound and went 2 1/3 IP, with three Ks; Sanders struck out 3 in 1 2/3 innings. The team finished with nine wins and in the top half of the bracket in the tournament.
