Dr. Maggie Currie, DDS, has joined Prairie Lakes Family Dentistry in Slayton. She is the daughter of Dr. Jon Heezen, and Dacie and Travis Spartz and just recently moved from Omaha to the Heezen Family Farm.

Jack Thomsen and Brynnlee Hanson were the winners of the inaugural Taylor Johnson scholarship. They were presented with their scholarship by Taylor’s children, Olivia and Gavin, at this year’s Summerfest.
Tyler Tribute
A $50,000 grant will help move the next phase of improvements at Hole in the Mountain Park forward after the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners received an update on the project during its July 7 meeting. Lisa Graphenteen of Development Services, Inc. (DSI) announced that Lincoln County has been awarded funding for a Phase II archaeological study at the park’s east campground.
