A catered “Heartfelt Country Dinner Party” will be held on Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at the Walnut Grove Community Center.
Hosted by Greenbush Twins & Company, this special gathering brings together friends, fans, and supporters for a meaningful night filled with heartfelt conversations, delicious dining, and opportunities to make a difference.
Sidney Greenbush will be the main speaker of the evening. Greenbush played Carrie Ingalls on “Little House on the Prairie.”
Other guest speakers include Laura Ingalls Gunn, fashion historian and relative of Laura Ingalls Wilder; Michelle Steffin, a relative of Laura Ingalls Wilder, who played young Rose Wilder on Little House on the Prairie; Jennifer Steffin, also a relative to Laura Ingalls Wilder who played young Rose Wilder on Little House on the Prairie; Charlotte Randall Yerke, who served on the “Little House” crew for eight years as a dialogue coach and script supervisor; and historian and author Michelle Underwood.
Throughout the evening, the special guests will share personal stories, behind-thescenes memories, historical insights, and inspiring experiences, creating an intimate and memorable experience for all who attend.
In addition to dinner, the evening will feature a charity auction, raffle prizes and opportunities to support the Walnut Grove Foundation.
Other appearances will be at 7 p.m. on July 17 prior to the Wilder Pageant; and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on July 18 at the Walnut Grove Village Fair in the park where autographs and photo opportunities can be purchased. There will also be a free Q&A session.
