Residents at Prairie View Senior Living enjoyed another wonderful week filled with games, creativity, fellowship, and visits from community members.
On Monday, residents gathered for a game of Bingo with special assistance from members of the Currie Catholic Daughters. The group generously provided prizes for the winners and treated everyone to delicious angel food cake topped with strawberries following the game.
Tuesday morning was a relaxing time for the ladies as they gathered for conversation and had their nails polished. Prairie View was delighted to welcome two young helpers, Aubree Wichmann and Vienna Lustfield, who spent quality time visiting with the residents and assisting with manicures. It was heartwarming to see the younger generation interacting and building connections with the residents. Later that afternoon, everyone exercised their thinking skills with a fun game of Dice Categories.
Wednesday morning began with Chapel led by Pastor Swanson, followed by Catholic Mass. That afternoon, many residents gathered for an entertaining game of Card Match-Up.
On Thursday, residents put their creativity and crafting skills to work by making cheerful paper plate sunflowers. The finished creations were bright, colorful, and perfect for the summer season.
Friday afternoon brought a classic game of Fargo, followed by a special gathering to celebrate a resident’s birthday. On Saturday, residents wrapped up the week with another traditional game of Bingo.
Prairie View would like to extend a special thank-you to the Currie Catholic Daughters for spending time with our residents and providing such a wonderful treat. We would also like to thank the IHM Sewing Group of Currie for their generous donation of beautiful blankets. Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated by everyone at Prairie View Senior Living.
