A LARGE GROUP OF HARD-WORKING PARISHONERS removed all the pews from Tracy Lutheran Church on Monday evening and hauled them to a CHS storage shed. Tracy Lutheran Church members approved asbestos removal and new carpet install at their January annual meeting. Pews were removed Monday, and will be followed by asbestos removal. New carpet will be install beginning week of Aug. 10 on the sanctuary floor, choir loft and chancel. Worship service on Aug. 2 and 9 will be held in the basement Fellowship hall. Worship on Aug. 16 will be at 10 am. at Painted Prairie Vineyard as part of the Worship among the vines service with other area churches.Pews will be hauled back to the church as soon as the carpet project is completed.
