A 30-year-old man from Tracy sustained non-lifethreatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Tracy after an ATV/motor vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, north of Tracy.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the Tracy Fire Department and Tracy Ambulance responded to a report of the collision at the intersection of 190th St. and 330th Ave. in Amiret Township.
The ATV operator sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Tracy Ambulance to the Tracy Hospital. The driver of a 2012 Honda Odyssey, a 36-year-old rural Tracy woman, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Tracy.
Four juvenile passengers were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and were not injured, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigation of the crash determined that a 2014 John Deere Gator was traveling south on 330th Ave., while the Honda Odyssey was eastbound on 190th Street. The Gator did not stop for the stop sign and was struck on its passenger side by the Odyssey in the intersection of 190th St./330th Ave., the Sheriff’s Office said. The driver of the ATV was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
The Sheriff’s Office did not release names of the driver of either vehicle.
Agencies responding to and assisting at the scene inclued the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Tracy Ambulance, the Tracy Fire Department, Minnesota DNR, Minnesota State Patrol, North Memorial Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care.
