Amy Klobuchar was the clear winner in Tuesday’s gubernatorial primary and will go up against Republican Lisa Demuth in the November election. Klobuchar got nearly 90% of the vote; Demuth edged Mike Lindell with 43% of the vote. Kendall Qualls received 21% of the vote.
For U.S. Senate, Republican Michele Tafoya garnered more than half the votes and will go up against Democrat Peggy Flanagan, who earned 59% of the votes, with Angie Craig a distant second at 39%.
In Congressional District 7, Republican Erik Osberg was favored almost 2-to-1 over Steve Carlson to earn the right to face off against Michelle Fischback, who ran uncontested.
For Secretary of State, incumbent Steve Simon (D) will face off against Tad Jude.
