corn at the community center
BURGERS, HOTDOGS AND LOADS OF SWEET CORN. Sounds like a typical Tracy American Legion Corn Feed Fundraiser. But there was one big difference between this year’s event and those that took place for decades before — the location. The doors of Tracy’s new community center opened Monday for the big corn feed, and by all accounts, the move was a popular one. The Legion no longer holds events at its old building on 4th St. and has moved its artifacts to the new center. ABOVE: Shirley Johnson, Jan Janssen and Sheila Helleson were fans of the new venue, as well as the sweet corn, of course.
