Residents who are part of the Phase E street project started to see changes to the landscape this week, as reported to the Tracy City Council on Monday night.
City Administrator Jeff Carpenter told council members that tree removal has started and will be done by the end of next week. The area will only see significant road work to areas that can be restored, meaning more than likely only North St. and First St. will see construction this year.
The board also approved resolution 2026-63-Approve police department squad car bid in the amount of $47,135 for a Ford Explorer without EcoBoost. The new squad car is budgeted for January 2027.
