CHILLY — ALMOST FALL-LIKE? — WEATHER greeted the TMB football and cross country teams for the first practice of the season on Monday. The Panther volleyball team also kicked off their practice season, only indoors. Each team went through their respective stretching exercises and drills as they prepare for the upcoming season. The first Panther action of the fall sports season will be Aug. 27 when the volleyball team will travel to Lamberton to take on Red Rock Central. The cross country team will run at Lakeview on Aug. 31, and the football team opens its season on the road on Sept. 3 against MACCRAY. A series of Headlight Herald previews for each team will kick off next week with the volleyball team. Photos / Per Peterson
