Prairie View Senior Living, an Accura HealthCare Community, has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
This recognition highlights Prairie View Senior Living’s unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life and care for its residents.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, a three-level process, is based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Recipients of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award must demonstrate their ability to implement a performance improvement system, showing measurable progress in achieving organizational goals. Prairie View Senior Living has distinguished itself by showing a strong commitment to achieving the highest standards in healthcare through a rigorous application process.
Providers begin the quality improvement journey at the Bronze level, where they develop an organizational profile detailing among other elements their vision, mission, key customers, and key strengths and challenges. Bronze applicants must demonstrate the use of a performance improvement system. Trained examiners review each application to determine if a center has met the demands of the criteria. As a recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality award, Prairie View Senior Living may now move forward to the Silver – Achievement in Quality award criteria.
