It was another wonderful week at Prairie View Senior Living, filled with good food, fellowship, music, games, and plenty of smiles!
The week began Monday with a traditional game of Bingo, giving residents a chance to enjoy some friendly competition and visit with one another.
Tuesday morning brought a little pampering with Fancy Nails. That afternoon, residents put on their chef’s hats and headed to the kitchen to bake some delicious Pumpkin Spice Cookies. The wonderful aroma of fall spices filled Prairie View! On Tuesday evening, residents gathered in the Day Room for Story Time and Reminiscing, sharing stories and memories from days gone by.
Wednesday morning was a special time of worship as Pastor Sahlstrom and Pastor Thor led Chapel, followed by Catholic Communion. On Wednesday afternoon, residents enjoyed a fun game of Would You Rather, which led to plenty of interesting choices, conversation, and laughter!
Thursday afternoon was filled with music and entertainment as we welcomed Tony Moger to Prairie View. Residents enjoyed his wonderful music and had a great time singing along. Of course, it was even better because everyone could enjoy some of the delicious Pumpkin Spice Cookies; they had baked earlier in the week!
On Friday afternoon, residents put their knowledge to the test with a friendly game of Jeopardy. It was a great way to exercise those memories while enjoying plenty of laughs and fellowship.
Saturday brought the week to a close with another traditional game of Bingo.
Congratulations to this week’s Bingo winners, Nora and Dot!
A very special thank you to Tony Moger for coming to Prairie View and providing our residents with such wonderful and fun entertainment. We truly appreciate you sharing your time and talents with us!
Another week of making memories, sharing smiles, and enjoying time together at Prairie View!
