Get active, stay informed
Do we elect politicians to represent us? Or do we elect politicians to create programs that take our property and give it to those to whom it does not belong?
Nearly half to two thirds of the Minnesota budget provides benefits to citizens and non-citizens that are “dependent” on a government program. Unauthorized legislation by the people we elect requires the taxpayers to provide these benefits. There is no clause in the U.S. Constitution that grants authority to congress to provide benevolence; therefore, the states do not have that authority.
The Congress of the United States and State Congress does not have the Constitutional authority to legalize theft in the name of compassion. If we as an individual would do what the congress is doing, (taking property from one citizen and giving it to another to whom it does not belong) we would go to jail. However, when congress does the same thing, they get praised for their compassion. Both acts are immoral; however, congress made their act legal.
Voting for someone whose focus and purpose is to provide benefits to some at the expense of another, is NOT a good reason to vote for them. The sole purpose of those we elect is to adhere to their Constitutional oath and protect our individual rights to Life, Liberty and Property. That is their absolute duty.
We, as citizens, have the responsibility to hold those that represent us accountable to their duty. So, rather than sit around complaining about high prices, taxes, burdensome rules and regulations….get active, get informed and be one of the individuals that will MAKE MINNESOTA GREAT AGAIN!

Where is our compassion?
Have we become a nation that pampers its pets, but butchers its babies? -- Really. Think about it. Suppose an owner of a mama dog in her late stage of pregnancy decides he does not want those pups, so he takes the dog to the veterinarian and requests to have the pups dismantled in the same manner that humans destroy their children in the abortion clinics without the benefit of anesthetics. Would the veterinarian go along with the request?
Most probably would not, but perhaps a small minority of them would. Similarly, the vast majority of medical doctors will refuse to “annihilate” the innocent child, but there is a small minority of them who have no problem doing it.
What if the small minority of those veterinarians posted ads saying they can destroy pups in the same way that abortion clinics advertise child killing. Its “Safe and Legal”. The dog owner could chant: “My dog, My Choice”.
What would be the reaction of the ASPCA and the Humane Society? Maybe on-site protests and lots of internet & TV air time protesting the cruelty; maybe even getting law enforcement involved to stop it.
Please go online and get the MCCL pro-life voters guide. We have two women running for governor, note their pro-life voting record. Lisa Demuth’s record is 100% pro-life. Amy Klobuchar’s record is 0% prolife. She even voted against giving lifesaving care for children who survive an abortion. (S 311 roll call vote #27 Feb. 25, 2019).
America needs to cultivate a compassionate heart for the children; just as much as it does for the cute puppies.
