It was another wonderful week at Prairie View Senior Living, filled with fun activities, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter!
Monday kicked off with a traditional game of Bingo, bringing residents together for an afternoon of fun. On Tuesday, residents put on their chef hats and headed to the kitchen to whip up some delicious Apple Croissant Rolls. The sweet aroma of freshly baked treats was a delightful bonus! Tuesday evening, residents gathered for storytime and reminiscing, sharing memories and enjoying conversations about days gone by.
Wednesday morning began with Chapel led by Pastor Sahlstrom and Pastor Thor, followed by Catholic Communion. In the afternoon, residents got into the Halloween spirit with a festive twist on a classic favorite — Halloween Bingo!
Thursday brought out everyone’s creative thinking skills with a round of Make-a-Word, one of the residents’ favorite games. On Friday, residents tried something new with a game called Pick and Play.
Judging by all the laughter coming from the crowd, this new activity was certainly a hit!
The week wrapped up on Saturday with another round of traditional Bingo, ending the week on a familiar and enjoyable note. Congratulations to this week’s Bingo winners, Eilene and Kay!
At Prairie View, we love finding the perfect balance between cherished traditions and exciting new experiences. Whether we’re baking, sharing memories, or learning a new game, it’s the smiles, laughter, and time spent together that make each week special!
