The Lake Benton Lake Association works behind the scenes to protect Lake Benton Lake, improve recreational opportunities, and ensure the lake remains a resource for future generations.

Early exploration is being considered about the possibility of an operating levy in the future at last week’s regular RTR School Board meeting. Michael Hart of PTMA Financial Solutions was on hand to explain the process. RTR is among the 27% of school districts in the state that does not currently have an operating levy.

Integrity Bank Plus announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the State Bank of Jeffers. Integrity has had a service location in Wabasso since 1934 and Walnut Grove since 1999.
