Prairie View News

Tuesday afternoon we played a game of Jeopardy. There are always questions that we want to learn more about by checking the information on the Ipad. This time the question was about camels having three eye lids, we learned that besides an upper and lower lid, camels have a transparent lid that covers their eye to protect them from blowing sand. Later that afternoon we completed a puzzle with clues to the names of Minnesota towns. Thank you to Pastor Thor for leading the chapel service and to Mary Ann Boerboom for the Catholic Communion service.

Other games this week were Penny Ante and Ping Pong Toss. Winners of the Ping Pong Toss game were Ray with 100 points, and Delores and Janet tied on the next game with 65 points.

May 11-17 is National Skilled Nursing Care Week, with the theme of the “Tapestry of Life” Families and friends are invited on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 to meet our Regional Ombudsman Kay Vizeckly and be entertained by the music of “Happy to Be Here” at 4pm, and on Thursday for a Ladies Tea at 2:30 p.m.
