TMB lost both games of a doubleheader against Yellow Medicine East on Tuesday, 3-1 and 12-1.
Melaina Ankrum tripled in the first game and scored on a passed ball.
“We had the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth with one out and the meat of the order coming up … one swing of the bat and we could’ve tied it or took the lead, but we just couldn’t make that happen, TMB coach Karl Campbell said. “It was a pretty well-played game, but we just didn’t get it done.”
Campbell said the Panthers got down early in the second game and did not respond well to that deficit.
“That was probably the worst game we’ve played all year,” he said.
TMB will host Ortonville on Thursday.
