TAHS FFA program deserves a standing ovation
It’s been 44 years since the TAHS FFA Poultry team finished first in state, but they accomplished that very feat at last week’s State Convention.
We applaud their efforts and congratulate them for the success they have had this school year.
The students and their coach put in a lot of work throughout the school year to reach this level of success, and the community should be proud of their outstanding efforts.
We also tip our cap to TAHS senior Marin Knott, who earned the 2025 Minnesota FFA State Star Award in AFNR Sciences.
Unless you’re associated with FFA or are a farmer, you likely don’t know much about all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into what makes a successful program, but rest assured, our local chapter coaches and advisors Elizabeth Rupp and Jenna Buyck work diligently on a daily basis to teach and nurture our these kids and help make them well-rounded, confident youngsters.
The dedication our youth show has paid off in a big way this year, and we at the Headlight Herald can’t be more proud of them. To show that, we’ll feature the Poultry team in next week’s edition — press it most certainly deserves!
