TMB and Minneota were locked in a pitchers’ duel Tuesday with the Vikings squeaking out a 3-2 Camden Conference win.
Connor Lanoue got the tough-luck loss for the Panthers. He pitched all six innings, giving up three runs (two earned) and four hits.
“Connor was great on the mound today, by far the best he’s looked all year,” TMB manager James Fultz said. “The defense was pretty clean behind him, besides the one unearned run in the first inning. This one definitely felt like a playoff game, and the guys played well.
Taylor Squires had two hits, as did Lanoue. TMB (8-8, 5-4) is at RCW today (May 15) and host RRC/WWG at 4 p.m. on Friday.
