A DAY AFTER THE PANTHER VARSITY SQUAD competed in the Section 3A Track & Field Meet a new generation of much younger Panthers hit the track Friday for their first competition. Grade school-aged kids in the TMB youth track program ran sprints, jumped hurdles, threw shot put and bent over backwards to clear the bar in the high jump. There was even a podium for the winners. LONG-DISTANCE RUNNER GAITLIN STRUCHEN appears to be on track to become the next standout TMB long-distance runner.
JARED SWENHAUGEN competed in the hurdles.
