THE THEME OF TUESDAY’S 2025 LADIES GOLF FUN DAY at Balaton Bay Golf Course in Balaton on Tuesday was, you guessed it, “Under the Big Top.” There was no “big top at the course,” but 46 clowns, or ringmasters and even a lion attended this festive event. Prizes were awarded to the three best circus-themed decorated golf carts and golfers dressed in circus-themed costumes. Best-themed cart went to Dawn Wee and Rochelle Rotar for their circus popcorn cart. A lion’s cage cart entered by Nancy Westphal and Ruth Sanderson won second-place honors, and a second popcorn cart entered by Barb Johnson and Paula Gunderman placed third. Photos / Per Peterson
