Smith tagged Camden MVP; he and Knakmuhs named All-Conference

TMB pitcher/third baseman Trevor Smith was recently named the Camden Conference Most Valuable Player and is joined on the 2025 All-Conference First Team by Noah Knakmuhs.

Both were seniors this year. Smith struck out 79 batters in 51-2/3 innings this spring and had a 2.44 ERA. For his 74-game career, he pitched 183 innings and collected 248 strikeouts while compiling a 3.18 ERA.

He hit .338 this year and scored 23 runs with 14 RBI and a .449 on-base percentage.

Knakmuhs, a centerfielder who also saw some mound time, had 24 hits, 16 RBI and batted .353 with an OBP of .397 this season. Knakmuhs’ career batting average was .349 with 76 hits and 49 RBI. He also struck out 54 in 58 innings pitched.

Honorable mention honors went to shortstop Griffin Zick, who will be a senior at TAHS this fall.

• On the softball side, Melaina Ankrum was named to the Camden First Team, and Aliyah Loftness was an honorable mention selection.
