Marine Corps. Air Wing veteran Roger Busswitz, Lakeville, was given a Quilt of Valor at his home. He received the Vietnam War Service Medal after his discharge in 1965; and Fulda veteran, Marine Stanley Kirlin, recently flew with the Midwest Honor Flight Mission 24 to visit various memorials. Kirlin’s service was from 1966-1968.
Tyler Tribute
The bid for materials for a new library in Tyler was $85,646 and $800,000 for construction, with $500,000 of that covered by grant money.
