Thanks to all for being part of Burgers, Bands & Brews
I just wanted to give a huge shout out to all who made this year’s Burgers, Bands & Brews a fantastic evening for everyone.
Tremendous thank you to our Gold, Silver and Platinum Sponsors whose donations allowed us to make the event Free.
Box Car Wind, Invenergy, and Plum Creek Wind Platinum Sponsors of $2,000 each, Bollig Engineering, Gold Sponsor at $1,000, and Silver sponsors Blue Peak, Premium Plan Services and Xcel Energy at $500. Community sponsors included Minnwest Bank, Mark Priegnitz State Farm, Sanford Health, Northwest Lighting and Above the Fold Publishing.
We could not have done this without the help of a great volunteer team. I know I would miss someone if I started naming names, as much as I would love to try to recognize each of you. You know who you are and I cannot thank you enough, but I’ll try.
Thanks to the Tracy Lions who stepped up and took on a large responsibility from our shoulders, serving up the burgers for BBB. Thank you to all five of our food truck vendors who brought a great variety of tastes and treats. The bands, individuals and groups, did a fantastic job of keeping the place rocking, and no doubt the weather was perfect.
People asked how many people were there, but several attempts to count were difficult as people were moving around everywhere. And that was another great change, no fences or gates, just a great free flow from food, bouncy houses, cornhole, music and of course Boxcar Liquors with cool beverages thru the afternoon and into the night.
I know I missed something, but I have to finally say, thank you for all who came over to Cenral Park. We went from last year asking, “Should we keep doing this?” to now, “That was awesome, how can we make it even better.”
Please, let us know if you have suggestions or would like to help next year. Volunteering is the best way to get to know each other.
Until 2026,
TOM DOBSON
