Monday morning, we started out our week with our summertime Baby and Kids morning.
This is an unstructured time for the kids to play and interact with our residents. Thank you so much to the moms who brought their children. It was so fun to see the interactions that took place between the residents and our young visitors.
Tuesday was a perfect day for cart rides around town. We were able to take groups out around town both morning and afternoon.
Thank you to Pastor Thor for leading the Chapel service and to Mary Ann Boerboom for providing the Catholic Communion Service. Wednesday afternoon we had a shopping trip to Dollar General.
Thank you, Kevin, for driving the bus and assisting with our shopping trip, it is always fun to get out and interesting to see what’s new in the store.
This week we played a new game called Punch Bingo. It involved the use of a bingo card made on a large tagboard.
In honor of the Father’s Day holiday, a cook-out of grilled burgers was held for all to enjoy.
