Patriotic music will be the theme for the Slayton Community Band Concert on July 3 at 7 p.m.
What songs do you think will be played besides the National Anthem? The band is asking the audience members to join the party and come dressed in red, white, and blue! Bring your family and friends for a free concert at Gullord Park, and while you are there, be sure to enter your name for a chance to win a gift card from The Hub.
Kiwanis will be serving burgers, chips, water, and a cookie from 5-7 p.m. The cost will be $10 for the full meal and $5 for the burger only.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to Jim Johnson, who has been a 49year member of Kiwanis.
