Prairie View News

Thank you to Alita Lenertz for the 4th of July cards and treats.

Tuesday evening residents enjoyed relaxing around the campfire and sharing memories of going camping and other summer activities. Of course, no time around the campfire is complete without roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.

The craft activity this week was making yarn buddies. Residents wrapped yarn then tied off with a pipe cleaner, trimmed the ends and glued on googlie eyes. They were cute characters that made us laugh as each one seemed to have its own personality.

Thank you to Pastor Deb for leading the Chapel service, and to Carol Buyck for Catholic Communion.

The first Thursday of each month we have on our calendar, Bingo with Friends, on this morning we welcome the folks from Advanced Opportunities in Marshall. It is a fun morning with a dining room full of bingo players and has given us a chance to make new friends. In the afternoon we joined for 4th of July Jeopardy and trivia.
