The Milroy Yankees will celebrate their 80th anniversary on Saturday, July 19, at Yankee Field.
Eric Dolan and Matt Bauer will be inducted into the Yankees’ Hall of Fame and Justin Schlemmer will be honored as well as a charter member of the Corn Belt Hall of Fame, which is celebrating its 25th year.
Social time will begin at 4 p.m. with a game against Sacred Heart to follow at 5 p.m.
There will be beer specials, and alumni will receive one free drink ticket to help wash down JC pork chops served up by John Christianson.
The event includes drawings, a kids’ raffle and root beer floats for $2. After the game, an adult batting practice and bean bag toss will be held.
